Yes, companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon do hire students with no prior internship experience.

If these companies are visiting to your university, they generally set a CGPA criteria or required stream/branch. After that, as long as you clear their interview rounds, you get hired. Also, it is most likely that you have an internship experience if you are in a university where these companies go for recruitment drive.

Very important point - Some companies also conduct their own coding competitions like Google Code JamMicrosoft’s Imagine CupFacebook’s Hacker Cup, etc. If you do well enough in these contests, you can expect an interview call from the company, doesn’t matter if you have an internship or not, and you get hired on clearing the interviews.

My batch mate and a close friend with no internships was recently hired by one the companies mentioned above. Hope this helps.
